Elizabeth Kracht is a literary agent, currently as part of Kimberley Cameron and Associates in Tiburon, California. As an agent, it’s her job to help those authors she represents to clear the hurdles and barricades put before them in the publishing industry. Formerly an acquisitions editor, freelance publicist, and as a writer herself, Liz has navigated the seas of the industry in a lot of different kinds of boats.

Liz’s eclectic life experience drives her interests, and perhaps serves a clue to her determination as an agent. Her career in publishing took root in Puerto Rico where she worked as a copyeditor for an English-language newspaper. When she returned to the mainland, she found her “vein of gold” in book publishing. She thrives on working closely with authors to build their careers. To that end, she’s recently published The Author’s Checklist: An Agent’s Guide to Developing and Editing Your Manuscript.
